Only Natural Pet offers both cat and dog food in the form of wet, dry, dehydrated raw, and freeze-dried raw. Some of the most popular pet food companies today only offer dog food.

Unboxing

Everything you order comes neatly packaged inside of a cardboard box. Everything is shelf-stable, so you won’t find any ice or cooling gel packs inside your delivery boxes.

Also, none of the food is pre-portioned. As such, you’ll be responsible for feeding your furry friend the correct amount of food you feel is right. However, do note that there are feeding guidelines and instructions available for each food type on the website. It tells you how much to feed your pet depending on his or her weight.

In terms of the recyclability of packaging, this will largely depend on what you order. There are hundreds of items available for purchase at Only Natural Pet, so it’s impossible for me to cover everything in detail here.

What I can tell you, though, is that the delivery box itself is fully recyclable, along with wet food cans. You just have to wash the cans out first before they’re eligible for recycling. Additionally, other materials may or may not be recyclable, depending on your local laws and the exact packaging materials of each item.

It’s easy to rehydrate the dehydrated food – simply mix equal parts food and warm water. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes and serve. 

Special note about dehydrated food: do not use boiling water, as this could severely injure your pet. Always make sure that the water is safe enough for your own consumption before using it to rehydrate your pet’s food.

Before I talk about anything else, it’s important to note that there’s free shipping on orders over $59. This only applies when you select standard shipping. FedEx’s 2-day shipping option will always incur an additional charge.

Only Natural Pet is a huge online retailer of hundreds of items for both cats and dogs. This includes meal options, extras, sides, snacks, treats, supplements, cleaning supplies, litter, collars, and tons more. It would be impossible to list every price for every item.

I can tell you that prices vary greatly, depending on what exactly you order. Dog food starts at around $1.99 for a 3 oz pack of wet topper, and cat food at around $1.99 for a 7 oz pack. These are the most affordable items on the Only Natural Pet menu.

It’s best to check out the site for yourself to find something that suits your pup or kitty, then go from there. Feeding guidelines and pricing will vary greatly depending on the size of your pet, and breed (for dogs).

Extras, toys, supplements, and things like that start at around $0.99 for a reusable canned pet food lid. Prices can go as high as $100+ for items like the Hauspanther TriPod Cat Lounge toy.

Shipping & Delivery

You’re able to order 1-time purchases or sign up for auto deliveries every 4 to 16 weeks. Do keep in mind that 1-time purchases will cost more in the long run. 

There are basically 2 delivery options – standard shipping via USPS or 2-day courier delivery. Sadly, you can’t pick your own delivery dates, though. Keep in mind that shipping will take longer to any US territory like Alaska or Hawaii.

Changing your order is possible after you place it, but you have to act quickly. For example, the site states that once it’s in the shipping queue, it can’t be changed online. If you’ve placed your order within 24 hours, you can try to get in touch with customer service to see if they can help you change it.

1. Browse for the product(s) you want. Hover your mouse over any of the 4 categories – Dog, Cat, Brands, or Deals. Find your product(s), then start adding them to your cart.

2. Choose 1-time or auto shipments. 

3. Head to the checkout. Once you’ve added everything you want to buy to your shopping cart, it’s time to checkout. Click the little shopping cart icon in the top-right of your screen.

4. Click Check Out.

5. Fill out your details. Enter your email, region, name, address, and phone, then click CONTINUE TO SHIPPING. Then, choose your preferred shipping method (standard or 2-day). After that, enter your payment information and complete the checkout process.

Managing Your Subscription

If you want to cancel auto deliveries, it’s super simple. Head over to your online dashboard called My Account. 

Next, find the Auto Delivery area where you'll see a button that says Cancel Auto Delivery. Once you click there, pick a reason, and then click the button again. This will finally stop your subscription. You’ll also receive an email to let you know you've successfully stopped your subscription.

That said, I contacted support via email to test it out for myself. Though someone got back to me within about 2 hours, which is impressive, the response I got dodged the specific question I was after. The agent avoided directly answering my question.
