Eat Clean Bro’s Menu: A Wide Range of Healthy Prepared Meals

Eat Clean Bro has a diverse menu for various dietary needs and tastes. You can browse its assortment based on preferred diet, trending meals, best-sellers, and other factors.  Eat Clean Bro's home page

The ordering procedure is simple. If you're in a hurry, just pick the desired recipes, add the quantity, and proceed to checkout.

Meal Options: 30+ Lunches & Dinners

Eat Clean Bro offers a diverse selection of meals and national cuisines. On its website's home page, I found information that the menu includes 30+ dishes. But I counted 80 offerings when perusing the menu, though not all of them were heat-and-eat dishes. Among them, I found ready-made meals like burgers, pasta, and bowls. Eat Clean Bro's Signature recipes

Every dish I checked was ingredient-rich. What I also like is that most of them incorporate ingredients I'm familiar with, like brown rice, Cheddar cheese, and oregano, for example. Some of them also contained beneficial extras I haven't heard of. For instance, Natamycin is a natural antimicrobial peptide that inhibits mold.

The menu features dishes from renowned cuisines around the world. In my research, I found meals originating from European, Asian, African, and Latin American cuisines or influenced by them. Some are Italian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Korean, Japanese, and Mexican. You can also find local recipes among other offerings. Three Eat Clean Bro's meals influenced by different cuisines

Note that Eat Clean Bro mainly offers lunch and dinner options. When I was browsing the menu, only 2 breakfasts appeared – Chocolate Banana Protein Pancakes and Turkey Sausage Breakfast BRO Sammy. For a wider selection of meals to start the day and high-quality freshly prepared dishes, I highly recommend Factor. Eat Clean Bro's breakfasts

Besides ready-to-eat meals, you can find bulk meats, vegetables, and the occasional snack on the menu. Some bulk meats include ground beef and turkey, chicken thighs, and shrimp.

You can find kid-friendly meals among other menu offerings. Some that come to mind are Turkey Bolognese w/ Spaghetti, Clean Burger, and Jessica's Fajita Chicken Mac & Cheese.

Customization: Eat Clean Bro Has a Ton of Categories & Filters

The company has various customization options, although some of them aren't obvious at first glance. When you navigate to the menu, you'll discover over a dozen categories. These range from dietary preferences to price considerations, among others. Further, there's a drop-down filter menu that helps you streamline your selection process. Eat Clean Bro's menu filters

If you click on the drop-down filter next to Meals by Category, you can browse meals by the main ingredient and diet. Some ingredients on offer are Chicken, Beef, and Pork. You'll also find Vegetarian and Vegan sub-filters among them.

There will also be a Diet filter, but it's mostly about ingredients you'd like to avoid. Some available avoidances are Dairy-Free, Grain-Free, Gluten-Free, and Egg-Free. If you’re a carb-conscious person, you'll find a Low Carb sub-filter among them.

You can also customize some individual ready-to-eat meals. Options I found while exploring different dishes include adding a side dish, omitting certain ingredients, and adding a gluten-free main ingredient.

In Spaghetti & Meatballs, for instance, you can replace spaghetti with gluten-free spaghetti. Or if you go for Chuck's Turkey Taco Bowl, you can exclude cheese if you're intolerant to dairy. In General Bro's Chicken, you can complement the recipe with cauliflower rice if you subscribe. Keep in mind that upgrades, even exclusions, may come at a surcharge, which is typically a few bucks. Eat Clean Bro Chuck's Turkey Taco Bowl

Note that leaving out certain ingredients from the drop-down filter may limit your choices pretty much. For instance, high-protein options were around 15 when I reviewed Eat Clean Bro, but this reduced to 4 when I excluded dairy products. Vegan options are lacking on the menu. For a better selection of vegan prepared meals, try Purple Carrot.

If you are looking for a meal subscription service that allows you to omit common allergens and swap ingredients (proteins, for the most part), Home Chef is your best bet. Most of its offerings are meal kits, but many are ready in as little as 15 minutes with easy prep.

Unboxing: Neatly Organized & Recyclable Packaging

When you get your order, the packaging varies. You may get your food in a paper bag or a cardboard box. I assume it has something to do with the pickup/delivery method. You should find everything in the packaging neatly arranged.

Food containers feature transparent covers and stickers that provide information about the contents. Inside the container, you'll find everything neatly arranged – your main course, sides, and any accompanying sauces.

Eat Clean Bro highlights that its packaging is eco-friendly. It also stresses that its meals remain fresh for up to 7 days if kept in the fridge. But refer to the best-by date for reference. Once you open the container, eat food within the next 2 days.

Cooking with Eat Clean Bro: All You Have to Do Is Heat the Meals

Eat Clean Bro delivers all its dishes fresh. Upon opening the container, you might find that some items appear too fresh, but this is intentional. The team slightly undercooks meals to preserve their flavor and moisture when you heat them. Note that you should always heat recipes containing fish.

Meals arrive in microwave-safe containers. To heat the meal in the microwave, remove the cardboard sleeve from the container. Peel off the corner of the film slightly and remove the sauce cup if present. Then place the meal in the microwave and heat on high for about 2 to 3 minutes. Note that this company’s meals aren’t intended for heating in a conventional oven.

Shortlist of My Favorite Meals

I'm going to introduce some of the provider’s top recipes now so that you don't have to spend time searching through Eat Clean Bro reviews to learn more about its meals.

The Frankie Edgar

The Frankie Edgar is among the business's all-time best-sellers. It consists of black Angus strip steak served with rosemary roasted red potatoes and garlic green beans. The company also uses extra virgin olive oil, black peppers, salt, and thyme to cook the dish.

The meal has 590 calories, 56 g of protein, and 32 g of carbs, making it good for calorie-conscious and high-protein diets. The recipe is also dairy-, soy-, gluten-, and egg-free.

Mexican Shredded Beef

Mexican Shredded Beef is a flavor-rich recipe. Its principal ingredients are tender beef sirloin tip, a spicy Mexican sauce, and steamed white rice. Some complementary ingredients are jalapeno peppers, bell peppers, chili powder, and cilantro.

Eat Clean Bro's Mexican Shredded Beef

This dish is among the low-calorie meals with 430 calories. It also contains 42 g of protein, making it an excellent choice for weight loss through reduced calorie intake and exercise. The meal contains 37 g of carbohydrates and 11 g of fats, and is free from dairy, soy, gluten, and eggs.

Dirty Boy OG

Eat Clean Bro reintroduced an old favorite known as the Dirty Boy OG to celebrate its first decade of business. The company sources hormone- and antibiotic-free turkey, then sautees it with mushrooms, peas, and onions. The platter is flavored with the addition of extra virgin olive oil, parsley, rosemary, and other spices.

Eat Clean Bro's Dirty Boy OG

Dirty Boy OG has 470 calories, 40 g of carbs, and 35 g of protein. The dish is free from dairy, soy, gluten, and eggs. As a subscriber, you can add cauliflower rice to the ingredients for an additional charge.

Eat Clean Bro prices its meals individually, unlike some of the best prepared meal delivery services that I and my team have reviewed. The cost of Eat Clean Bro's meals is on the higher end, reflecting their high quality. What I noticed is that even the most affordable meals are in the double digits for a single serving, with the exception of snacks and some bulk vegetables. Note, however, that you can get a small discount as a member.

You get what you pay for, as Eat Clean Bro has high standards for its ingredients. The enhanced cost accounts for the additional time and effort that goes into raising, for example, antibiotic-free livestock.

Considering the assortment with a wide range of prices, I think that the service should include a price filter alongside others. The only such filter is for dishes that cost less than $12.99.

Eat Clean Bro's discounts for members

Overall, Eat Clean Bro's prices are considerably higher than those of its direct competitors. You can count on a small discount as a subscriber, true. But it's no more than $1.50 even for the most expensive offerings, such as A La Carte Salmon. The discount is way smaller compared to many prepared meal delivery services, such as Eat Clean, let alone meal kit subscription services. If you go for heat-and-eat dishes, your discount is likely to be even smaller, up to a buck or so per dish.

Shipping fees vary depending on the total amount of your order and your specific location. Orders over $150 qualify for free shipping. For purchases under that amount, I found that shipping to locations such as New York, Miami (Florida), Austin (Texas), and Seattle (Washington) is consistently $12.99. Note that the minimum order amount is $40.  The delivery fee for Eat Clean Bro's order

Eat Clean Bro accepts credit cards. You can pay for your order with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners, ELC, JCB, and UnionPay credit cards.

You can choose to tip the driver at the checkout. You can add 5%, 10%, or 20% of the order amount or a custom tip. You can also opt not to tip the delivery person.

Shipping & Delivery: Local Delivery, Shipping, or Store Pickup

Eat Clean Bro ships its meals across the continental USA. Just keep in mind when selecting meals to also choose the appropriate delivery method, of which there are 3. These are Local Delivery, Shipping, and Store Pickup.

If you live in New York, for example, choose Local Delivery. If you're farther away, in Texas or Washington, for instance, select Shipping. If you're anywhere near Eatontown, Freehold, or Point Pleasant and prefer to take over your products yourself, opt for Store Pickup Eat Clean Bro available shipping and pickup options

Once you choose a delivery method, select a delivery date. If you qualify for local delivery, you’ll have more available delivery dates compared to locations that qualify for the Shipping method. Store Pickup offers the most dates. I was able to choose between several Local Delivery dates and a few Shipping days over the next 2 weeks.

Contact customer service to reschedule or cancel your delivery. It would be best to get in touch as early as possible, but no later than 24 hours before your scheduled delivery. Otherwise, you'll likely pay a restocking fee of 50%. You'll receive a tracking number before your package leaves the facility.

Customer Service: Eat Clean Bro’s Support Is Good

Eat Clean Bro has very efficient customer service. You can contact it in 3 ways. These are the contact form, phone call, and live chat. To send an email, click on the Contact option in the header. To speak with an agent, select the chat bubble in the lower right corner of the screen. Or call 866-258-1890.

I tested 2 communication channels and I found both very efficient. First, I wanted to learn more about the service's delivery range since I couldn't find the details in the FAQ section. I submitted an inquiry through the contact form just before business hours began. I received a prompt response from Amanda right as the operating hours commenced.

Email from Eat Clean Bro's customer service

I also wanted to find out if I could freeze Eat Clean Bro meals if necessary. I posed this question through live chat after entering my email address. Cristina responded within a minute or 2, providing not only an answer but also advice and a link to freezing instructions. My verdict of the provider's customer support – the efficiency and quality are top-notch.

The FAQ section is pretty comprehensive. But, I find it lacking various basic information I usually find in other services' FAQs. For instance, I couldn't find much information about the shipping coverage. It wasn't until Amanda responded to my email and I proceeded with the purchase that I learned how delivery works. Live chat with Eat Clean Bro's customer service representative

There are no account cancelation details in the FAQs. So, you'll have to get in touch with customer service to terminate your subscription.

The company also doesn't elaborate on a satisfaction guarantee or refund, so contact its representatives for details. But given the perishable nature of the company's meals, I think the room for returns and refunds is pretty small.

How Eat Clean Bro Compares to Other Meal Delivery Services

Eat Clean Bro vs. Factor. Both Eat Clean Bro and Factor deliver prepared meals. But Factor takes the edge with recipes crafted and cooked by professional nutritionists and chefs. It also offers a broader selection of extras, including breakfasts, desserts, and drinks (juices, smoothies, and shakes). Besides, Factor offers nutritionist coaching sessions, with the first session free.

Eat Clean Bro vs. Green Chef. Eat Clean Bro is better for busy individuals seeking ready-to-eat meals. Green Chef sends meal kits that require some kitchen time. But Green Chef stands out as an organic-certified company, making it 1 of the healthiest meal subscription services available. Also, you can serve some Green Chef recipes in less than 20 minutes, with some in as little as 10 minutes.

Eat Clean Bro vs. Blue Apron. While Eat Clean Bro focuses on ready-to-eat meals, Blue Apron offers both heat-and-eat options and meal kits, providing more flexibility. Blue Apron is more cost-effective and allows you to modify select dishes, switching between omnivorous and vegetarian options. Besides, Blue Apron boasts a wider variety of add-ons compared to Eat Clean Bro.

The Bottom Line: Is Eat Clean Bro Worth It?

Eat Clean Bro is the right choice for busy people seeking convenience and quality. It caters to various dietary preferences, including omnivores, vegetarians, and calorie-conscious dieters. The team crafts each dish with attention to nutritional balance and flavor. The service prides itself on delivering fresh recipes with good shelf life nationwide.

But, the price point is on the higher side. It reflects the quality and convenience, true, but makes it less attractive if you're on a tighter budget. Also, the meal subscription service primarily caters to meat eaters, so you may find limited options if you're a herbivore.

If the disadvantages in your case outweigh the advantages, check out our best tried-and-tested meal delivery services to find an alternative.
