Billie Delfin, Creator and Founder of B’ Bites Snacks, tells us how snacking during the day can be nutritionally beneficial while satisfying sweet cravings.
B’ Bites was launched in November 2013, after my husband and I lived in Europe while he worked abroad. I would send him off to work with homemade snack bars, which eventually became a huge hit with his colleagues.
I was amazed at the fresh, clean, and high-quality ingredients Europe had to offer and was inspired to continue making these delicious and healthy snacks when we returned to the US.
I come from a nutrition and wellness background, so I’ve always been interested in healthy eating, snacking, and baking on both a personal and professional level. I’ve also been interested in creating a product for those with dietary restrictions, allowing everyone to enjoy healthy, clean snacks.
B’ Bites are dried fruit & nut snacks that are raw, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. They are handcrafted in small batches and made without oils, refined sugars, preservatives, or anything artificial. All of our snacks are Certified Vegan and made with organic and non-GMO ingredients.
The bars are square and have a soft and chewy texture. Each flavor is made with eight ingredients or less and they are all low in sodium and heart-healthy.
B’ Bites are a nutrient-dense snack, perfect to hold you over until your next meal. They contain potassium, iron, fiber, protein, omegas, B vitamins, and magnesium. We offer flavors with dark chocolate and peanut butter that will satisfy any sweet craving and keep you feeling fuller for longer.

Our squares (or bites) are just under two inches in size, and there are two squares in a small pack, which equate to a full-size bar when combined. Each square is between 70-90 calories. They are nutrient-dense but not calorie-dense.
Your focus should be on ingredients and nutritional content versus a simple calorie count. If you only look at calories when reading the nutrition label, then you often ignore whether or not the snack is actually healthy.
Our bars have a seven-month shelf-life and the nut and seed mix stays perfect for twelve months. Both can be stored in the fridge or on top of the counter.
I would say people aged between eighteen and forty. Also, those who are fitness enthusiasts, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, or just looking for a healthy snack to add to their diet.
