How to Cancel a Freshology Plan in 2022 (+3 Alternatives!)

So – you tried Freshology and it didn’t quite do it for you? You’re not alone. Even the most popular Freshology plan isn’t the best fit for everyone looking to eat more healthily or lose weight.

Maybe you’re looking for a cheaper diet plan like Nutrisystem, or a more flexible low-calorie plan that focuses on fresh food, like Blue Apron or Freshly.

Whatever the case, read on for how to cancel your Freshology subscription.

How to Cancel Your Freshology Subscription – A Quick Guide

One key thing to note is that you must cancel by Monday 12 pm EST if you pick up your food, or Friday 12 pm EST if you’re a home-delivery customer.

The process itself is among the simplest of any meal delivery services I’ve tried.

  1. Choose how you want to contact customer service. You can either call them and ask to cancel or shoot off an email with a cancellation request. Business hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm EST, or Saturdays 9 am to 12 noon.

  1. Let the agent know you want to cancel your plan. Whether you’re requesting your cancellation by email or phone, you’ll need your account details to hand including your name and email address.

  1. Get immediate confirmation. That’s it!

So You Canceled Your Freshology Subscription – What Now?

Getting your first meal delivery is a great feeling. The food is fresh and exciting, and you’re saving so much time by not shopping for groceries or preparing food. But, fast forward a month or two, and maybe you’re ready to try something a bit different. That’s totally normal.

If you’ve canceled your Freshology subscription, there are plenty of great alternatives that might hit your sweet spot instead.

Best Freshology Alternatives

1. Blue Apron – Best Wellness and Weight Loss Meal Kits

Freshology is great for chef-prepared meals, but perhaps you want to take more control in the kitchen and cook for yourself instead? If that’s the case, Blue Apron is one of the best-known meal kit delivery services. It’s affordable, it’s dependable, and it sources its ingredients with great care... But did you know it also has a healthy weight loss plan?

Let me introduce you to the Wellness plan. It’s approved by WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) and it uses the WW points-based system. It counts the macronutrients in your meals for you, so you always know where you stand.

You can read more on that and the menu in our in-depth review. For now, all you need to know is that it’s a plan designed to help you lose weight and all the meal kits are super easy to cook, so don’t worry if you’re not a confident chef.

2. Nutrisystem – Best Heat-and- Eat Diet Plan

Nutrisystem’s weight-loss plans make it easy to diet without having to think about it.

Like Freshology, it offers prepared meals, but the food doesn’t scream “low cal” and since the program is designed for you to eat five or six times a day (no, that’s not a typo), there’s little chance of you going hungry. If anything, on the Uniquely Yours plan, I found myself eating more often than I had before.

With over 100 options on even the most basic plan, Nutrisystem has a good range of meals and snacks. Unless you have strict food requirements, you’ll find more than enough choice to keep you full and happy.

There are a range of plans for men and women, diabetics, vegetarians, and partners who are dieting together. If you want to know more about the plans and pricing, take a look at our full Nutrisystem review.

3. HelloFresh – The Easiest Weight Loss Meal Kit

HelloFresh has a lot going for it. It’s one of the most well-known meal kit brands and one of the biggest players in the market. It has six plans, including its Calorie Smart plan, which is a great weight-loss diet alternative for Freshology if you don’t mind cooking for yourself.

One of my colleagues tried out HelloFresh to see if it lived up to the hype. Read her full HelloFresh review to see how easy these meals are to put together – and what she thought of the taste.

Bottom Line

Freshology makes it easy to eat healthy and delicious meals that require minimal effort on your part. But it’s not the only option out there.

If Freshology isn’t the one for you, it’s easy to cancel your subscription. And should you decide to look elsewhere, there are plenty of great alternatives that might be exactly what you’re searching for.

Here’s a Quick Summary of Best Alternatives to Freshology:

FAQ

Is it easy to cancel a Freshology subscription?

It’s super simple to cancel your Freshology subscription. You have two options: calling customer service or sending an email with your cancellation request. In either case, you’ll get confirmation right away.

Learn more in my How to Cancel Freshology guide above.

Are there cheaper alternatives to Freshology?

While Freshology is similarly priced to other meal delivery services on the market, there are cheaper alternatives out there that are just as healthy.

Take a look at Nutrisystem, which offers meals plus snacks starting at just $9.74 per day. That’s right, you get three meals plus three to five snacks for the price some services charge for a single meal! Plus, all meals are low-calorie, which makes them perfect for weight loss goals.

Can you cancel the subscription at any time?

Yes, you just need to be careful to cancel your subscription before Monday 12 pm EST if you pick up your meals or Friday 12 pm EST if you’re a home-delivery customer.

As for the customer support team, you can contact them Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm EST, or Saturdays 9 am to 12 noon.
