SUPERSONIC offers innovative and natural meals and drinks focused on the healthy performance of the body and mind. I spoke to Co-founder and CEO Chris Kozak to learn about the company’s unique story and the functional thinking behind its products.
For the past few years, customer needs and requirements have been subject to significant changes. Customers are becoming more health-oriented and eco-conscious in terms of their eating and drinking habits.
The outbreak of Covid-19 further intensified the process of change in terms of approach to diet. People started to value life and health more, and evidently, they’re investing more in holistic, healthy, plant-based food and drinks. At the same time, customers expect quick, easy, complete, and compact solutions.
Our company’s story is the story of the changing times and how they impacted customer awareness and expectations, including our own.
My co-founder Tomas is an entrepreneurial type. Previously, he was an independent sales and marketing manager and a board member at a few sports organizations. He observed the professional and precision nutrition of athletes and wondered how to transfer this to the customer sphere.
Matthew and I also come from a marketing and sales background. We were all searching for the best ways to achieve health and personal effectiveness.
We decided to meet market needs by preparing natural meals and drinks that improve people’s health and personal performance. We built up a scientific base so that everything we do has a proven impact on human health. We launched during the Covid-19 outbreak and since then, demand has been growing steadily. We try to keep up with customer demand and reinvent ourselves as this market continues to evolve.

SUPERSONIC Food Powder is a quick-prep, wholesome, perfectly balanced meal, based on a blend that contains:

SUPERSONIC Food is the only product in this category that contains liquid Omega 3-6-9 fatty acids (from flax and hemp), which means they’re much more absorbable and very much needed in the modern diet.
SUPERSONIC Beauty Isotonic is a drink based on coconut water and hyaluronic acid. Apart from ensuring optimal hydration, it also takes great care of your skin, hair, and nails.
SUPERSONIC Performance Isotonic hydrates your body and maintains your energy levels while also supporting your body in times of stress and tension thanks to plant adaptogens such as the popular Mountain Rhododendron, Chinese Citronella, and Guarana.
Both of our isotonics feature the unique Yarrowia lipolytica, a novel strain of inactive yeast, which has prebiotic and antioxidant effects. The drinks are available in powder and ready-to-drink form.

Their requirement is simple: they want to have healthy, complete, and nutritious meals despite their constant lack of time, and to manage their diet and weight holistically. They strive for better performance both mentally and physically. That’s the kind of audience we see and we do our best to cater to their needs.
In my opinion, the most exciting trend is that people are cutting down their meat consumption. We see a lot more plant-based products on the shelves, and they’re no longer exclusive to vegans and vegetarians. One-fifth of Europeans claim to be flexitarian, which is somewhere on the vegan-vegetarian spectrum, with the ability to occasionally enjoy animal products.
The functional food market is growing rapidly with modified or added natural ingredients, and people are looking forward to such solutions which will ensure adequate nutrition regardless of what you eat.
Sure, but we definitely need to diversify our meals. You can easily replace one or two meals with shakes when you don’t have the time or the possibility of cooking.
