Green Chef has recently introduced a dedicated Mediterranean plan. Entrees like Italian Shrimp & Creamy “Rice” and Baked Ricotta Chicken with Pesto Green Beans sound decadent but still allow you to stick to healthy eating habits.

Check the ingredients: Look for meal kit services that provide a variety of fresh foods and that offer organic, locally sourced, and sustainably harvested ingredients. Also look for clear ingredient lists that warn you of allergens like milk or tree nuts.
Price isn’t everything: If you’re on a three-meal plan for two people, an extra $0.50 per serving only adds $3 a week. That’s a small price to pay to upgrade to meals you love vs meals you think are okay.
