Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas 2024: Expert Picks

Many great wine clubs deliver to Kansas, offering both local and international options. These clubs provide benefits that often outshine local stores. For example, they hire expert sommeliers to ensure only top-notch wines make the cut. And you'll likely find their prices more wallet-friendly than your nearby brick-and-mortar stores.

Still, differences between wine subscription services tend to run deep. Some services spotlight USA-produced wines, while others send wine experts to global vineyards for the best picks. While some allow single-bottle purchases, others stick to bundle sales.

After careful brainstorming, I think that Firstleaf is the best pick. For starters, it has a ton of award-winning bottles in the assortment and a great wine personalization quiz. But other wine clubs I included in the list are noteworthy competitors, at least in some areas. So continue reading my Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas guide to see if some of them suit you better.

Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas Reviewed

1. Firstleaf – Best Wine Club That Ships to Kansas Overall

Firstleaf's Le Temps des Récoltes

Key Features

  • The company has a great on-site wine school

  • You can buy many local and international award-winners

  • The service has whites, reds, rosés, and sparklings on offer

  • Current deal: 6 bottles for $44.95 + free shipping!

Firstleaf topped my list for several reasons. And competitive pricing and a bunch of multi-awarded wines are just the tip of the iceberg. No matter your pick on the site, the company will present you with award winners, just like Le Temps des Récoltes in the picture. And its wine experts search every nook and cranny globally for truly exceptional bottles.

The wine club has an extensive selection. You can easily sift through wines by type, such as reds, whites, rosés, and sparklings. The lineup of reds and whites stands out in numbers. You'll find celebrated varieties among the reds like Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. As for the whites, some popular picks include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay.

Firstleaf has quite a decent selection of rosés, too. Every time I checked, I browsed among nearly 2 dozen options. Only where this wine subscription service lags behind some other competitors on my list are sparklings  (<10 bottles).

The company has dozens of international wines. Select Regions in the header to browse bottles from top wine nations like France, Italy, Spain, Australia, and South Africa. But the service features gems from lesser-tapped places, like Greece, too. Also, it has a broad selection of bottles produced in the USA. I consistently spot around 100 American wines when I browse, which is often. a screenshot of the Laureleé Brut Rose from Firstleaf

Try Featured Bundles if you aren't into any particular type of wine or region. These sets may contain various reds, whites, or other wines or mix and match different wine types. Check out our Firstleaf review to learn how many wines you may get in the bundle and who they cater to.

Firstleaf has a Specialty wine collection as well. Diving into it, you'll discover 10 or so tailored sub-categories for any wine enthusiast. Think Lower Alcohol Wines, Eco-friendly Wines, and Keto-friendly Wines. If you're a keto dieter, consider pairing these with Factor's ready-made keto meals.

Let the company tailor the selection for you if you're unsure where to begin. Take a brief quiz and the wine club's algorithm will align bottles with your tastes. I like that you can switch recommendations if some don't resonate.

The wine club has 3 subscription tiers. Each next level provides bigger savings and more attractive gifts. But each grants higher savings compared to guest buyers.

Either way, Firstleaf sells top-notch wines at reasonable rates. Prices kick off at $7.49. If you grab 12 wines or more, the winery club covers the shipping. Kansans that order fewer bottles pay a delivery charge of $14.95.

2. Naked Wines – Best Low-Cost Kansas Wine Delivery Service

Naked Wines' Sharon Weeks Cattoo Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Key Features

  • You can browse around 150 gold-medal wines

  • The company has hundreds of bottles on offer

  • The wine club has reds, whites, sparklings, and rosés

  • Current deal: Get 50% Off!

Naked Wines is the right choice if you seek outstanding wines for low prices. In essence, it crowdfunds independent winemakers, boosting their production. In exchange, the wine club gets wines at special rates, some even below $10. By bypassing middlemen who bump up costs, it serves up a collection of top-tier wines directly to its customers.

The wine club showcases hundreds of bottles every time I peruse its menu. While its stock varies, I've never seen fewer than 350 options at any given moment. On occasion, the number of offerings soars close to 500. And roughly 150 of those are gold medal champions.

Most of the business's wines, well over 250, hail from the USA. The service showcases selections from famed wine hotspots like Italy, France, and Spain. It doesn't leave out Portugal, Argentina, and Chile either. But, the last time I looked, Australia was leading the international pack with about 30 bottles on display.

Reds dominate Naked Wines' collection. When I did my Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas review, I stumbled upon roughly 240 red wine choices. The previous peek revealed about 350. Whites followed with 110+ bottles. Sparklings and rosés held steady with 13 bottles each, though occasionally their count may double or even triple. a screenshot of the Buzzworthy Wines 11-Pack from Naked Wines

This wine club boasts a 12-filter system, the most thorough I've seen in my wine subscription reviews. Some choices you can navigate are Grape, Region, Winemaker, and Alcohol (content). Dietary preferences are also available, with options like vegetarian, vegan, and organic. If you're into any of these meals, try Green Chef, a USDA-certified meal delivery service.

You'll lean on your instincts and knowledge when picking bottles since Naked Wines doesn't have a personalization test. If you prefer a tailored touch, I highly recommend Firstleaf. It has a great on-site customization quiz to guide you to wines that match your tastes.

But Naked Wines has a different tailoring system that works retroactively. Rate each wine after tasting to have the company shape its future offerings. The more wines you rate, the better the recommendations will be.

Think about becoming an Angel member if wine is often on your menu. The subscription nets you big discounts and provides cool perks. For $40 a month, you could see wine price cuts of up to 60%. Dive into our Naked Wines review to get the full scoop on membership.

This wine club boasts quite a selection of inexpensive, yet, high-quality wines. The most affordable bottles cost $7.99. Use a filter setting price ranges like Under $10 and $10 To $15 if you're watching your wallet. Shipping depends on your order size. As a Kansan, you either enjoy free shipping or face a $9.99 delivery charge.

3. Vinesse – Best Wines From Award-Winning Wineries

Vinesse's Bramble Ridge

Key Features

  • Get your wines sooner by providing a business address

  • Rate wines to help the company build future shipments around bottles you love

  • Choose between reds, whites, rosés, and sparklings

  • Current deal: Enjoy 6 Exceptional Wines for Just $41.94

Vinesse has been a go-to in the wine delivery world for over 30 years. Its skilled sommeliers travel worldwide, ensuring oenophiles get a taste of extraordinary wines. Through this wine club, you'll enjoy pours from renowned regions like France, Italy, Spain, and Australia. But wine experts also venture into lesser-known wine locales, constantly introducing unique flavors.

Sourcing bottles from acclaimed vineyards is a constant with this service, though. And you won't have to break the bank to get them to your table. 2021 Bramble Ridge Oregon Rosé in the image, for example, is the business's Vinesse Exclusive wine that costs a bit under 15 bucks. If you work with a limited budget, subscribe to Naked Wines to get great wines under $10.

This wine delivery service has upscale options for connoisseurs with discerning palates. The 2019 Delectus Merlot from Napa Valley, for instance, sits around the $80 mark. Still, many high-end bottles usually stay under the $50 range.

You can browse red, white, sparkling, and rosé wines with this service. Peruse the filtering system to narrow down choices quickly. Just note that you can find the Rosé variant among the Shop Wines by Varietal sub-filters instead of among the Shop Wines by Type options, like others. Shop Wines by Price and Vinesse Exclusive are other available filters. a screenshot of 2021 BALANCING ACT WASHINGTON CHARDONNAY by Vinesse

This Kansas wine subscription service has curated Wine Samplers. Shortlist them by checking the corresponding Shop Wines by Type box. If unsure where to begin, the Top Selling Samplers at the top of the page may be a good jumping-off point. I think that A Passport to Our Most Loved International Reds and A Sweeter Side of Wine are 2 standout 12-bottle selections.

I find the lack of a personalization test the only weakness of the wine club. In other words, you'll have to trust your gut feeling and knowledge when picking bottles. For expert help, subscribe to Firstleaf, which has 1 of the best wine personalization quizzes I have taken so far.

You can buy Vinesse wines as a guest if you wish. But subscribing provides you with various benefits, including a Satisfaction Guarantee and flexible membership plans. Read our detailed review for a deeper dive into membership benefits and specifics.

I found myself puzzled when prompted for a business address during registration. But note that you don't have to run a business to get your order. It can hasten your delivery by a day and shave off a $2.50 residential fee. But your wine will still find its way to you, whether you're an entrepreneur or not.

The total cost depends on various factors, including your exact location and order size. Depending on those, handling and shipping fees vary. But the cost per bottle starts at $10.00.

4. Bright Cellars – Best Bottle Customization Service for Kansans

Bright Cellars' Stigma Private Reserve Bundle

Key Features

  • You can only buy wine bundles from this wine club

  • The company has extraordinary customer support

  • Browse white, red, sparkling, and rosé wine sets

Bright Cellars is an ideal choice for novices and adventurous wine aficionados. It tweaks its selections based on the customer input, so it's a safe bet if you aren't sure where to start. The system matches bottles to your tastes, considerably lowering the likelihood of a miss.

Before diving further, note that you can buy only bundles from this service. Thus, the price tag may seem a bit high. But remember, the wine club tailors its selections using expert sommelier insights and your preferences, minimizing the chances of a mismatch. Still, if you'd like more control over your wine choices or wish to buy single bottles, go for Vinesse.

Bright Cellars boasts a selection of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines. Its collection includes esteemed bottles from top wine regions from Italy, Spain, and France, to name a few. But you can find a variety of wines from across the USA, especially from prominent regions in California and Washington.

Besides wines, you can buy cocktails – Margaritas, to be specific – from the wine club. These come in bundles, too, featuring strawberry and lime flavors, for the most part. Some available sets during my research for the Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas review were Day & Night Classic Lime and Sugar, Spice, & Everything Margs. a screenshot of Bright Cellars' White Wine Variety Bundle

Take the on-site wine personalization quiz to get wines that match your palate. If you're a wine newbie, some questions, like your chocolate preference or ideal wine setting, might seem a bit off. But wine specialists crafted the quiz to grasp your taste. For more information, read our thorough review.

Feel free to swap out any suggested wines if something else piques your interest. Plus, you can choose the number of bottles you'd like, whether that's 4, 6, or 12. If you're confident in your picks, consider ordering in bulk to snag a good deal.

Think about joining Bright Cellars for enticing benefits. A couple of standout perks include a 20% member discount and first dibs on curated wine sets. And you can swap any wines that don't suit you. Consider starting a Naked Wines Angel account for up to 60% discounts.

Customer support can help if you're after something not in the current lineup, so don't hesitate to reach out. I learned from my interactions with them that the team is super helpful and willing to go the extra mile to meet your needs if they can.

Each bundle's cost depends on its kind and the number of bottles it contains. The starting price for the least expensive bundle is $10.00. Choose a box with 6 or more bottles to enjoy free shipping. The cost of Kansas delivery is $10 if you buy fewer bottles.

5. Wine Insiders – Best Wine Subscription Service for French Wine Fans

Wine Insiders' 2020 Jean Boisselier Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge

Key Features

  • The business has a large French and USA wine selection

  • Sets encompass wine types and bottles from specific regions

  • You can buy red, white, rosé, and sparkling wines

Wine Insiders primarily focuses on French wines. Whenever I looked into this service, it had no less than 50 bottles from renowned wine regions in France. The last time I checked, there were 60+ such wines. And their prices were quite reasonable, mostly ranging from $10 to $20 per bottle. If you sip on the go, the company has canned French wines on offer.

A few of these were even award winners. A couple more were either customer or celebrity (like Martha Stewart) favs. Check Firstleaf for a way larger selection of multi-awarded wines, even though its French wine selection is smaller compared to Wine Insiders'.

But Wine Insiders offers more than just French bottles. It boasts a great selection of American, Italian, and Spanish wines. Whenever I looked, I found options from places like Chile, Australia, Argentina, and Portugal, too. Also, the service features wines from lesser-known regions, such as Mexico and Hungary. A few times, I've even noticed Moroccan bottles in the lineup.

The wine delivery lineup includes reds, whites, rosés, and sparklings. Every time I check, reds are in the lead. Last time, there were over 120 reds in the assortment. Whites followed with over 70 bottles. Rosés numbered close to 2 dozen, while a handful of sparklings rounded things out. Consult our Wine Insiders review for a deeper look at its offerings. a screenshot of a bottle of 2021 Wolfson Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon from Wine Insiders

The company has sommelier-curated sets on offer, too. Many are priced between $15 to $20 a bottle. You can choose sets featuring 3, 6, or 12 bottles. Some that caught my attention are Best of France, Award-Winning Bordeaux Collection, Ciao, Italian Reds, and Geoffrey's California Classics.

Wine Insiders offers a convenient filtering system to help you find the perfect bottle. I particularly like the Varietal (Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, etc.), Country, and Sweetness (Dry, Sweet, and Semi-sweet) filters. The Vintage option is available, too. To delve deeper, check the More Filters section that has choices like Staff Pick, Organic, and Vegan.

Wine Insiders also features celebrity-curated sets. When I was reviewing for the Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas, I noticed picks from Martha Stewart, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Ludo Lefebvre. Sets like Martha's Best of the Brunch, Geoffrey's Barbecue-Ready Reds, and Chef Ludo's French Countryside Whites Trio caught my eye.

Consider becoming a member to get wines unavailable for guests. Alongside these artisanal wines, you can enjoy 3 gold medal winners for free and gifts on selected shipments alongside other perks.

You won't have to burn a hole in your pocket to buy Wine Insiders' products. Bottles from renowned wineries begin at $8.99. If you order 6 bottles or more, shipping is on the business. Kansas residents pay a $14.95 delivery fee and an extra $2.95 processing charge if they buy fewer wines.

6. The California Wine Club – Top Wine Club for American Wine Enthusiasts

The California Wine Club's Bekjorden 2022 Lake County Dry Muscat Canelli

Key Features

  • The service has 6 wine clubs

  • The company focuses on wines from the American West

  • You can browse between white and red wines

The California Wine Club has a broad selection of wines from the Golden State. Many of its offerings hail from wine-renowned places, such as Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and Lodi. But you can also peruse its menu for other West Coast regions, specifically Washington and Oregon. But these are typically in shorter supply than California wines.

But if you're after reasonably-priced bottles, focus on wines from California. There, I found nearly 2 dozen bottles you can have for less than 20 bucks. For this reason, The California Wine Club deserved a place among the cheapest wine clubs on the market. But if you prefer products on the opposite end of the price range, you have options worth well over 100 bucks.

This wine subscription service focuses on local selections. The international wine supply is pretty limited. Each time I've checked, I've spotted a few bottles from Italy, France, Germany, and Canada. But you’re unlikely to find wines from Argentina, Chile, or South Africa. Even Australian wines were scarce whenever I looked. If global selections are your thing, check out Wine Insiders.

The California Wine Club has red and white wines in stock. While it claims over 100 handcrafted wines in its Wine Store, I've observed occasional fluctuations in that count. Still, monthly restocks ensure a consistently good variety. a screenshot of California Wine Club's 2021 Bacio Divino Pazzo Red

You'll find several filters containing various sub-filters on the Wine Store page, and these are:

  • Region

  • Red Wine

  • White Wine

  • Categories

  • Wine Club Levels

Best Values and Highly Rated Wines are a few categories I checked first. Pinot Noir and Zinfandel are some stand-out Red Wine variants while Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are prominent whites. The Wine Club Levels generally match the available wine clubs.

The California Wine Club features 6 unique wine clubs:

  • Premier Series – wines from charming, family-run wineries

  • Pacific Northwest Series – bottles from emerging producers

  • International Series – wines from skilled artisan winemakers

  • Signature Series – wines that boast 90+ ratings and gold accolades

  • Case Club Series – premium, handcrafted wines

  • Aged Cabernet Series – Cabernet wines matured for 7 to 12 years

Customization options differ between these wine clubs. Take a look at our in-depth review to learn more.

You'll have to trust your gut and understanding when selecting wines. That's because The California Wine Club lacks a wine customization quiz. So, consider subscribing to Bright Cellars if you're leaning towards a more guided experience.

The wine club's pricing and delivery fees tend to fluctuate. Wine prices kick off at $10.99. If you opt for the Premier Series, its most budget-friendly membership, there's a $16 shipping fee on top of any applicable handling costs and taxes for Kansas residents.

7. Wine Awesomeness – Adventurous Wine Selections for Bold Oenophiles

Wine Awesomeness's Placer Andaluz Chardonnay

Key Features

  • Go for Mystery Packs if you like surprises

  • Check selections curated by various wine importers

  • Order reds, whites, or rosés

Wine Awesomeness has an offer I seldom find offered by wine clubs. If you're kind of an adventurer, you can enjoy the uncertainty of what wines you'll get until you get them. Wine experts curate these Mystery Packs, and the price per bottle is reasonable. The only catch might be that these sets come in bundles of 12.

You can go for the Variety Mystery Pack if you're comfortable with any wine. Otherwise, choose Red, White, or Rose Mystery Packs if you're a fan of a particular type of wine. Some other sets I came across when I reviewed this service were End of Summer and Fall Overstock mystery packs. Just note that these bundles seem popular among oenophiles and tend to sell out quickly.

Wine Awesomeness boasts an impressive lineup of reds. When I last peeked, it had just under 100 red wines on offer, including an intriguing mystery bottle. Given the broad red selection, this wine subscription service qualified among the top 10 red wine clubs in the market.

Wine Awesomeness has a strong focus on international wines. On my recent check, there were 14 US-made wines, and on a prior look, just 8. Its collection spans both famous and lesser-explored wine regions worldwide. If you're leaning towards wines crafted in the USA, those from the Golden State, in particular, you'll be better off subscribing to The California Wine Club. a screenshot of A bottle of 2020 Ventisquero Carménère Reserva from Wine Awesomeness

The winery club sources wines from various continents. Some of them are Europe, South America, and Australia. You'll find bottles from renowned wine nations like France, Italy, and Spain, as well as South Africa, Argentina, and Chile. It also brings in selections from, for some, unexpected spots like New Zealand, Slovenia, and Austria.

The company has an elaborate filtering system. Some categories I find convenient are by grape, by country, and by type. Too few sub-categories under the by grape section (only 7) took me a little aback. Most of these were red variants, including Shiraz, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. Check Naked Wines to browse between dozens of grape varieties.

You can also browse bottles by collection. Influencers, celebrities, and businesses that curate wines for the service are Shanon St. Clair, Nail Betch, Opopop, and Emily Post. Make sure to check their collections frequently because bottles they recommend fly off the shelves.

You can join the Wine Awesomeness Discovery Wine Club. Once a member, you can pick your own bottles or let the company's expert sommeliers do that for you. Take a look at our in-depth review to learn more about the membership.

This wine club caters to a range of budgets. Prices kick off at $13.25. Kansas residents whose orders exceed $150 don't pay for shipping.

8. Macy’s Wine Shop – Top Choice for Red Blend Aficionados

Macy's Wine Shop's Lone Cardinal Red Blend

Key Features

  • The service has an impressive red blend wine selection

  • You can browse between a few dozen white blends, too

  • The company has rosé and sparkling wines on offer

If red blends are your thing, Macy's Wine Shop may be your top choice. Many wine services might stock a few or a few dozen red blends, but this online store consistently has over 50 available whenever I check.

The wine club has many single-varietal red wines. But their numbers are far from impressive compared to many other wine delivery services. For example, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Pinot Noir, the leading 3, featured 21, 10, and 8 bottles, respectively, during my last check. All other red variants were far fewer, down to a handful per grape variety.

Some Macy's Wine Shop's bottles are award-winners. Lone Cardinal in the image, for example, has won a silver medal at the 2022 San Diego International Wine Challenge. But for a larger selection of single-varietal wines and award winners, some of which won up to several accolades, consider subscribing to Firstleaf

The wine delivery service offers a good range of white wines. On my last check, white blends topped the list with 23 options. Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay followed, boasting 18 and 10 bottles, respectively. Other varietals were far behind, clocking in at 4 or fewer. a screenshot of A bottle of 2020 Rojo Amarillo 1785 Cabernet Sauvignon from Macy's Wine Shop

Macy's Wine Shop sources wine from various global regions. When I last checked, French wines led the pack with 73 options, followed by American (55), and Italian (44). Other notable mentions include Spain (26 bottles), Australia (11), South Africa (6), and Argentina (5).

The company has a respectable selection of about 30 rosés. You may find Grenache, Sangiovese, and Glera blends among various single-varietal rosés, such as Garnacha and Muscato. I noticed 10 sparklings in the lineup. If you have a penchant for sparklings, consider browsing Naked Wines, which has a broader range of alternatives.

The company has a series of filters, including Color, Sweetness, and Country. One that really caught my eye was Vintage. It's a gem for connoisseurs knowing which years shined in particular wine regions. When I was researching, the available vintages ranged from 2018 to 2023. But, in the past, they went back as far as 2015.

Macy's Wine Shop has a 90+ Rated Under $20 section in the Collections category if you're looking for popular budget-friendly bottles. I stumbled upon a solid 20 options there. And some of them cost no more than a dozen bucks. Based on these facts, we rank this business among the best cheap wine delivery services for 2024.

Become a wine shop member to enjoy some great perks. Replacing bottles you don't like and paying less are a few of them. Read our full review for more details on the benefits of Macy’s Wine Shop.

Buy at least 6 wines to skip Kansans’ $14.95 delivery fee. The most affordable Macy’s Wine Shop’s wines start at $10.99.

9. Monthly Clubs – Best Service for Vinophiles and Turophiles

Monthly Clubs' Waldschütz Kamptal Grüner Veltliner

Key Features

  • The company has clubs for cheese, chocolate, and beer lovers

  • Choose between 4 wine clubs

  • You can buy red and white wines

Monthly Clubs deserves a spot on your list if you combine wine and cheese. The company rolled out The Rare Cheese Club and The Original Gourmet Cheese Club.

You can choose between 4 wine clubs depending on your preferences:

  • The Premier Series – boutique premium wines

  • The Bold Reds – robust red wines

  • The Masters Series – selections from The Premier Series and The Collectors Series

  • The Collectors Series – wines aged to perfection

If you're uncertain which to choose, start with The Premier Series. It's Monthly Clubs' most popular wine club with an average 5-star rating from over 100 reviews. Other clubs have the same rating, but from 12 to 20 reviews. Moreover, at $41.95 monthly, it's the most affordable option. Check out our expert review to see how the membership works.

You'll get curated wines from expert sommeliers if you join Monthly Clubs. If you prefer to choose, head to Wine Store in the header. From there, use several convenient filters to guide your selection, including:

  • Grape Varietals: Sangiovese, Riesling, Merlot, Chardonnay, etc.

  • Country: France, Portugal, United States, Australia, and more

  • Color: Red and White

a screenshot of A bottle of 2021 Domaine Gille Grandes Creusottes Bourgogne Côte d’Or Pinot Noir from Monthly Clubs

Note that Monthly Clubs doesn’t have sparkling and rosé wines on offer. I suggest checking out Wine Insiders if you're a fan of these.

French wines are in the big lead every time I research the selection. During my last glance, there were 21 offerings from France. Portugal followed with 7 bottles, and South Africa and Argentina were tied, each represented by 5 wines.

This wine subscription service boasts a diverse range of grape varieties. During my last look, some standout alternatives were Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Grenache, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. What's more, there's a handy Price filter that lets you narrow down options anywhere from $15 to $246.

You'll have to trust your intuition when shopping a la carte at Monthly Clubs. Or go for membership to get wine selections from seasoned sommeliers. Consider Bright Cellars if you're after a tailored wine experience. Its in-depth wine quiz aligns selections with your taste, making it 1 of the few very best wine clubs for beginners

Monthly Clubs caters to wine enthusiasts of all budgets. Bottles begin at $20.98, though remember to account for shipping. Fees for Kansans usually fall between $15 and $36, based on the order size.

If you buy 1 or 2 bottles, you pay 15 bucks for shipping. Delivery of 11 or 12 bottles to Kansas is $36. Keep in mind that ordering 14 bottles means getting 2 boxes, which equals these sums ($51).

10. Plonk – Top Organic Wines

Plonk's Charles Gonnet Mondeuse Rosé

Key Features

  • The company sells food and wine bundles

  • The service specializes in eco-friendly wines

  • Choose between white, red, sparkling, and rosé bottles

Plonk provides a diverse range of organic wines from around the globe. While it has offerings from wine giants like France, Spain, and Italy, it also features selections from countries like Canada, Croatia, Armenia, and Turkey. If you crave US wines, choose between bottles from California, Oregon, Washington, and New York.

Note that Plonk prioritizes less-prominent players in the wine industry. It sources wines from producers dedicated to indigenous grapes and appellations you probably haven't heard of. Also, the business commits to sustainability since its wines are free from pesticides, herbicides, and other undesirable additives. So, you can get the purest form of wine from this winery club.

This wine delivery isn't the most budget-friendly option, to be clear. If you consider yourself a budget-conscious, eco-friendly wine enthusiast, try Firstleaf. It boasts an extensive collection of eco-friendly wines (I saw over 50 the last time I looked) that are more affordable, especially for members.

You can choose between reds, whites, sparklings, and rosés. But note that the choices tend to be pretty slim compared to other competitors in my Wine Clubs That Ship to Kansas review. Reds and whites, for example, were around a dozen. And I found just a handful of rosé and sparkling options.

Besides Wine Type, you can also categorize bottles by Region and Wine Making Method. The Region option features 5 primary categories with distinct sub-categories. Some European options are Italy, Portugal, and Georgia, whereas the South American choices are Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina. Wine Making Method options are:

  • Sustainable

  • Grown Organic

  • Certified Organic

  • Grown Biodynamic

  • Certified Biodynamic

a screenshot of Plonk's Alessandro Bortolin Prosecco Fonduel Col Fondo

Click on the Mystery Cases tab to buy curated wines by Plonk's experts. You can go for red, white, or mixed selections. Note that the prices of these bundles are way higher than other delivery services. Take a look at Wine Awesomeness for more affordable mystery packs.

Some other options are Seasonal Packs and Dinner Party Packs. But the deals I find especially attractive are Food & Wine Bundles and Special Collections. Food & Wine Bundles available featured organic wines and cheeses or salami when I researched. Special Collections encompassed Italian Wine 6-Pack and 4 Shades of Orange Wine.

Plonk boasts 3 self-explanatory wine clubs:

  • Red Organic Wine Club

  • White Organic Wine Club

  • Mixed Organic Wine Club

You can choose from 4-, 6-, or 12-bottle cases with a monthly subscription for any of these clubs. Also, opt for an ongoing or a prepaid plan. Find out how to sign up in our comprehensive review. Depending on the case size and plan, you can choose to get your eco-friendly wines between 1 and 12 months.

Plonk ranks on the pricier side of the wine clubs I've looked into. Its most affordable bottles start at $9.50. Yet, a silver lining for residents of the Sunflower State is the free shipping.

Tips for Choosing the Best Wine Club That Ships to Kansas

Alright, you have the rundown of the best wine clubs shipping to Kansas. But there still remains to narrow it down to the ideal 1. Based on my insights, consider these crucial factors to find your best fit:

  • Consider your wine tastes. Typically, options include reds, whites, sparklings, and rosés. Next, you may prefer wines with lower alcohol content, those matching a particular diet, or from specific regions or producers. Naked Wines boasts a detailed filtering system that caters to these and several other preferences.

  • Decide whether you need expert advice. Having professionals curate your bottles can be a treat for any wine enthusiast. Firstleaf shines in this aspect because it has a comprehensive wine personalization quiz that takes various details into consideration. Besides, most of its wines are reasonably priced award and multi-award winners.

  • Figure out your spending limit. Pricing is the third key consideration that may make or break a purchase. Sign up for Wine Insiders if you lean towards cost-effective options. If you're open to splurging for premium quality, Vinesse could easily be your top pick

  • Check the shipping costs. Delivery charges can increase your spending quite a bit. But note that some wine clubs provide free shipping when you reach a certain order count. For example, Bright Cellars delivers for free if you order at least 6 bottles, while some clubs charge for orders less than 12 bottles.

FAQ

Can I get wine shipped to Kansas?

You can definitely get wine shipped to Kansas. Firstleaf is among the best winery clubs servicing wine lovers in the Sunflower State because it has many award-winning wines on offer. Another competitor you can hardly go wrong with is Naked Wines, which has many affordable bottles and an extensive filtering system.

Are winery clubs worth it?

Yes, they are because you can buy great wines you aren't likely to find in a local store. And many of them feature an on-site wine personalization quiz you can use to tailor wines to your taste. Bright Cellars has a great wine customization questionnaire and it sources bottles from acclaimed international and US wine regions.

What shipping company ships wine?

FedEx and UPS are prominent carriers known for shipping wines across the country. Another great carrier for shipping fragile items is GLS. Many wine clubs prefer them due to their expertise in handling bottles and other delicate items.
